Cut the Cables: Reliable VoIP Over Wi-Fi

With this VoIP desk phone you have the option of either using a LAN cable or Wi-Fi for connection. Here are the benefits of connecting this phone to your Wi-Fi for your business:

Flexible Deployment

  • Great in environments where running Ethernet cables is hard (e.g., older buildings, meeting rooms, flexible workspaces).

  • Your phone doesn’t need to be tied to a wired point; you could move it (within Wi-Fi coverage) and keep it working.

Cost-Effective

  • Reduces cost of cabling / re-cabling.

  • If PoE (Power over Ethernet) isn’t available everywhere, Wi-Fi means you don’t have to wire it, though you’ll need power via adapter.

Redundancy

  • If the Ethernet network is down (or you're temporarily disconnected), Wi-Fi gives you another way to stay connected.

  • In some setups, you could have both active (Ethernet + Wi-Fi).
